GOING HOME, BARR FAN CLUB DISBANDS

April 30, 2005

That's right. Some of the guys are readying for new replacements to come into Jalalabad. I think the 2/3 is coming. Salerno is probably going to be entirely run by the Army? I hope they don't piss on the 3/3's hard work. The bummer, Capt. KC Barr is resigning upon return to the world, and the Marines will probably lose the best company commander that fought in the Afghan Campaign. He and the 3/3 racked up a record of accomplishment unmatched in any province in Afghanistan by any other force. The Paktia and Khost Provinces were also the most difficult to manage, and now some of the most loyal to the central government. Hell, I saw a speculation article that Haqqanni might come in for amnesty. The 3/3 will be missed in Afghanistan. The guys deserve our thanks. Thank you to KC and Weapons Company for making us proud to be Americans!!!!!!

THE WALKING DEAD

April 25, 2005 The News International, Pakistan

Another half-dozen of Mullah Omar's dumbest bite the dust near Gayan, a village about 60 kms south of the K-G Pass. Howitzers and Army copters gave them a free ticket to paradise. Other articles have three more Taliban leaders coming in for amnesty. The big speculation I have seen in the news, is wondering about Haqqanni's possible surrender for amnesty. I hope the Marines kill him before he gets the chance. I imagine Gayan is a forward fire base monitoring the border, but have no cinfirmation.

SCOUTING PAYS OFF

April 21, 2005 Courier Mail News

The Taliban dumbshits actually used one of the rocket positions marked and observed by the Marines would be my guess, because they launched 4 rockets at Salerno and then got the hell kicked out of them. Specter gunships, Apaches and howitzers homed in on the latest rocket attackers and sent 12 of them to the asshole of Allah. The only good Taliban is a dead Taliban.
Will they ever learn? See posts below for Navy News video of the guys checking possible rocket launch sites ahead of this attack. I guess the Taliban don't have internet access.

Damn link is not working properly, at Courier Mail site click on breakingnews and go to "Taliban die in fresh attack"

THE GOOD GUYS BAG 24 BAD GUYS

April 18, 2005 Reuters via Afghanistan Sun

Another two dozen dregs of humanity locked in the cooler at Salerno I'm sure. Hopefully on their way to a sunny vacation in Cuba. No details, just this thin report.

MORE NAVY NEWS VIDEO OF THE GANG

April 3 and 7, 2005 Navy News

The guys are shown on patrol in Kanday and on counter rocket patrol. The first one is Sgt Theron Hart giving us the run down, and then SSgt Derrick Hancock delivering the word. How come Headquarters and Service get all the air time? I want to see Weapons Company putting the hurt to the bad guys.

HEADQUARTERS AND SERVICE MEN IN ACTION

April 11, 2005 Navy News

Living proof that Headquarters and Service Marines hump the mountains too. Video, here, of the guys climbing a mountain to check out potential enemy rocket launching positions. SSgt Khalif Ahmad telling us how it is.

MORE DIRTBAGS ON THE WAY TO ALLAH

April 13, 2005 Kashar News

More dirbags went to meet Allah on Friday. The leftover dregs, of the suicidal Wahhabi sect called Taliban, ambushed an Afghan National Army Patrol in Khost Province and the Marines came to the rescue. Two Marines were wounded, and I am waiting for the official KC Barr update. Here's all I have now. God bless the guys coming home soon.

ARMY SLICKS KILL 5 MORE SCUMBAGS

April 11, 2005 Reuters via Afghanistan Sun

Five more of Mullah Omar's dumbest went to meet Allah on the road to Gardez, and got their 70 virgin goats. The morons tried to ambush a former militia leader, Buaz Khan Sherzai, who has been helping the 3/3 clean up their AO. They missed, but the Army pilots didn't.

TALIBAN STILL KICKING?, IRAQ-AFGHAN LINK

April 10, 2005 Asia Times Online

The reporter here has a very detailed report of Taliban leftovers regrouping in the Pakastani city of Chaman(like he was there with his Taliban buddies). He thinks they are aiming for a June offensive. The man also reports that the Taliban had sent several leaders to Iraq BEFORE either the Afghan of Iraq Wars, to train in insurgent terrorist operations. Thats right this Taliban sympathizing reporter claims to have info that the Taliban of Afghanistan, and the Al Ansar freaks in Northern Iraq were in cohoots before September 11. Did I mention that the Boston Globe reporter who followed the Special Forces and Peshmerga into the battle with Ansar Al Islam found a chemical/biological weapons lab in the wreckage of the battle? It was crude but had many scary compounds and agents and their manuals present. Our guys are fighting the good fight no mattter what the lefty jerkoffs say.
